Snipe 4 of the guards instantly, drop down, run to the chief + 1 guard. Or another where you line up the shot, there are no orcs with a mile, just you and 1 chief and 5 guards. 5 hours into the game, you'll be up against chiefs that are immune to ranged damage, have unbreakable shields making them immune to melee damage from the front, are immune to being jumped over so you cannot reach their backs, and which have strong sense of smell so you cannot sneak up, and which also heal when you bring animals attack and weaken them. I really, really like the idea of the randomized warchiefs (though they are just too populated, so I usually run into 2 more while taking out a chief), but there's no balance. Who is the voice anyway? Why is it following me? My character doesn't seem confused by that, so I guess I should have read about it somewhere? Oh hey, now here's Gollum. I guess it had amnesia? Weird, that feels like something it should have told me.
and then more voice over asking if I even want to help the voice find its identity. and dead again with the voice asking me if I believe it now. wait now I am being sacrificed by someone. wait now I'm dead again and some disembodied voice is telling me I am banished from death. wait now I'm stealthing to give my wife a flower. who is he? Now I'm alive again and I guess the dead guy was my son? Ok, shame you squandered any emotional impac. There seems to be a story, but no one was involved in actually writing or delivering it. So first thing: do not expect to Batman through battles. You are basically plopped into the world and your first battle can be 1 vs. Massive swarms of orcs that take unexpectedly large numbers of hits to down with next to no intro. As someone who 100% completed all four Batman Arkham games (even the unpopular Origins), Mordor just doesn't live up to the pedigree. I'm going to take the unpopular opinion here.
